Client Connection:
Many of my projects arrive by the thoughtful referral from my previous design clients to others as well as from the recognition of building tradespeople who have found the documentation a great resource to their work.
I hope to always thank all of my clients for their opportunity to work with them.  I appreciate the referrals and look forward to continuing my efforts to know more about the concerns and impressions of my work.

Q:  Why should we bother to apply for a building permit?
A: In most cases, many home improvements projects extend into areas that lawfully require the permit/inspection process as defined by local and national governments.  This process is established to ensure public record and safety for the owner and neighbors, the environments; and additionally, to provide a valuable resource of building trade and building code standards of communication directly to each phase of each approved project.  Effective project documentation enhances the design options, contractors services, and additionally aids the ability to resolve and approve government permit requirements and inspections.  Permit review and project site inspections by a government official are a bonus to the owner to assure that situations are built to a proven and correct standard.
Q:  How will my project benefit from a custom set of drawings?
A: A professionally prepared drawing that has been designed directly from the property conditions, combined with budget and use requirements provides enhancements throughout any project by confirming and communicating purposes.

Q:  Could I just get my house, or even just a part of it, measured and drawn for right now and then plan something later?
A: Existing condition features can be documented, (floor plans, elevations, outlet & switch diagrams, furniture inventory, etc.) from which drawings and models may be prepared; by room or building, to prepare for a project.
Once conditions are properly drawn and dimensioned to scale in advance,
a prePLAN, you will benefit by having a plan to consider and communicate your intentions to a contractor, cabinet remodeler, or other services.

Additional prePLAN      benefits:
  • compare furniture arrangements, before you lift a sofa
  • a promotion feature for the sale of real estate to a new owner
  • a disaster/fire damage reference
  • a plan for home center spec. orders
  • an archive of an ancestral home
  • an established pre-design contact
Q:  How will working with EAMHome prepare me for the actual construction ?
A: Each design phase is supported by a unique proposal format that allows us to work efficiently from task to task. Within the preparation of each task, you will experience consistently personalized design updates that respond to your concerns and provide realistic and creative options.  With most every project, a highly effective solution is most often captured at the first presentation.  From this preliminary preparation, a background of experience and resources then continues effectively to a coordinated array of descriptive technical documents determined with precise parametric model renderings.
